Service Description

The objective of the Applied Regulatory Analysis training course is to develop a Business Analyst skillset so you can work successfully to assess and implement complex rule requirements. The course uses case studies from the main regulatory, statutory and contractual rules that apply to the operation of an Investment Fund. During the course you will create end to end process-flows that are part of a fund's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). You will learn how to design processes and controls that are a single source of requirements used for training, system development and outsourcing. You will gain the knowledge and skills to develop high quality SOPs connecting Governance, Management and Operations activities. You will learn how to cross reference process activities to rule requirements to make it easy to demonstrate compliance. BOOKING PREFERENCES: Applied Regulatory Analysis has been designed to allow for flexible delivery. There is a maximum of 12 participants for each course. The default training course is delivered in one day and uses case studies from Fund Management Company - Guidance (CP86) issued by the Central Bank of Ireland in December 2016. During the booking process, you will be asked to identify a preferred case study and to indicate if you require flexible delivery. Additional courses to meet booking preferences will be scheduled to meet demand.
