1. How easy is it to setup InFORM for our Investment Funds?

It takes less than 5 minutes to get you started.


During Step 1 we create a copy of Fund Elements pre-built Investment Fund Processes and Controls.


Step 2 is about your people, system and service provider dependencies and setting them up on InFORM to represent your standard operating model. We plan to set these up with you on day 1.


Fund Elements will complete Steps 1 and 2 during the 14 Day Free Trial and provide your team with a demo of how to identify and assess operational risks.


If you like what you see, InFORM's ESSENTIALS Implementation Plan takes you through to the next milestone.


Completion of Steps 3 - 5 will ensure that all existing operational risks are captured for your fund. These steps also focus on engaging and training your teams to identify, assess and action plan risks.


We expect to able to complete an ESSENTIALS Implementation Plan within two weeks.


2. What is InFORM's Unique Selling Point?

InFORM's unique selling point is our pre-built Investment Fund processes and controls.


These processes and controls cover 12 functional areas that are shared by all investment Funds.


We use these to setup your fund's Standard Operating Model and provide the context for your operations.


Fund Elements uses a proven approach to build process content that is easy to understand and relevant to your day to day Investment Operations.


The methodology has been in use for more than 20 years across 1,000+ global businesses including 50 Fortune 500 companies.


3. Who else is using the App?

Fund Elements is a partner of elements.cloud, a San Francisco based software business.


The Elements.cloud App was launched in 2016 as a Business Analysis solution and is available as a free or paid license.


At the end of October 2019, there were 1,000+ businesses on a free license and 136 businesses on a paid license.


The App is used extensively by Salesforce customers to manage their technology assets. It's GDPR functionality (General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) is used by Fund and Wealth Managers/Promoters operating on Salesforce as a compliance solution.


Gartner identifies businesses like Elements.cloud as operating in the Enterprise Business Process Architecture sector of the Information Technology industry.


4. Is the technology secure?

Yes.


Each work Space has it's own security model that allows you to grant access to InFORM and decide the permission types for each user.


Initially we will act as the Administrator of the Space and then hand this responsibility over to you during your implementation.


InFORM uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is available as a Public Could or Private Cloud solution depending on your Information Security requirements.


InFORM works with your existing document management solution(s). Documents remain in their existing environment and are linked to InFORM.


The prices quoted in InFORM's ESSENTIALS and FULL STANDARD Implementation Plans are based on the Public Cloud solution.


5. How easy is it to share InFORM with our Governance and Operations Teams?

Sharing InFORM is really easy.


You need an email address and a web browser.


The Administrator invites a team member to access InFORM and sets the appropriate permission for their job role.


Each team member will then have access to your standard operating model and will have the ability to identify, assess and action plan risks for their area of responsibility.
